Abstract:Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocytogenes) is an very important foodborne pathogens, which poses severely threaten for food safety. Recently, the contamination events of L. monocytogenes in edible fungi occured frequently, which arising a widely concerned and causing certain negative impacts. This paper systematically reviewed the current contamination status, the biological characteristics, the detection technologies and comprehensive prevention and control strategies of L. monocytogenes in edible fungi, and compared the difference of the limit standards of L. monocytogenes in edible fungi and products between home and aboard. The aiming of this paper is providing theoretical basis and technical reference for improving the safety level of edible fungi in my country, protecting consumer health, and improving international reputation.
