The approval of new varieties of food additives,the production,use,import and export of food additives in the Food Safety Law,and departmental rules and regulations were described.The standard system,including the use of food additives,product specifications,manufacturing practice,labeling and testing method,were also introduced.The improvement of the standard system of food additives in China was discussed based on the practical application of standards,product standards and standard of test method.
