Some patients suffered from rhabdomyolysis syndrome were received by the Jiangsu Provincial People＇s Hospital and Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital since July 2010. All of these patients had a history of eating crayfish. The clinical manifestations，laboratory tests and epidemiological characteristics of these patients were very similar to Haff disease. Similar foodborne diseases around the world will be reviewed in this article.
