The implementation of the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China presents both opportunities and challenges to nationwide health food industries. By establishing and improving scientific evaluation system, introducing innovation mechanisms, conducting health education, as well as utilizing online information platform, the registration, manufacture and consumption of health food could be linked up effectively, which would be helpful to ensure a sound development of health food industries.
