Abstract:The Food Safety Law of the People′s Republic of China has been imp lemented; After the food safety supervision system being adjusted, how does the public health administration departments comp rehensively coordinate with other relevant departments to perform supervision on food safety together? The following aspects should be taken into account: First, the p roblem of function overlapp ing and unclear responsibility among relevant supervision departments should be solved, in order to narrow the supervision gap; Second, to clarify the detailed contents and administrative right of the public health administration as the responsible department for comp rehensive coordination and administration; Third, considering the cost and efficiency of supervision, it is better to define only one supervising team to supervise the basic-level food health, such as health administration or food and drug administration; Fourth, to solve the certificate effectiveness of the items not being app roved bymetrology accreditation, once a severe food safety incident occurred; Fifth, to address the defects in the p rovisions of“the Food Safety Law of the People′s Republic of China”to the legislative institutions as soon as possible.
