Objective To evaluate the current status of hygiene of the lunch suppliers. Method The questionnaire and survey were used to collect information on school lunch among 9 enterprises and 18 canteens in 6 cities by the typical survey method. Results The main hygienic problems of the lunch supplying enterprises were that facility in packing room was not perfect, and the label in the box lunch were not perfect as required, and the transport and samples were not in line with regulation. The hygienic problem of the canteen concentrated in arrangement of function room, purchase food without checking the certificate, and the hygienic awareness of the staff were lack, and samples were not in line with regulation, and the systems of the management were not sound. Conclusion Different steps should be taken according to different conditions in the enterprises and canteens. It is necessary to strengthen the supervision and direction, reinforce the self-management and carry out HACCP to inquiry.
