The number of occurrences of food poisoning has increased significantly in Jiangsu Province in 2003 than in the past years, which has caught more and more attention of all levels of the government and the public. In this paper, the causes of the food poisonings have been reserched and thoroughly analysed, and some advices on preventive measures have been suggested.
