Abstract:Diphenoxylate was administrated to mice by the dose of 10 mg/kg BW for the development of constipation model for formulation of examination procedure of health foods. The time of defecation of the first black urine, quantity and weight of urine with 6 hours were statistically significant different compared with the control group. The results presented the stability and reliability of the model and it was recommended to verify in the function experiments of health foods.

Abstract:Sudies were carried out to assess the ease-constipation function of the health food with the essential composition of aloe. By the dose of 0.9 and 1.8 g/kg BW the samples could improved the peristalsis of the small intestine of mice, reduced the defecation time and increased moisture content of the feces. The quantity and weight of the feces were significantly increased by the dose of 1.8 g/kg BW. By the concentrate of 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 mg/mL the samples could enhance the spontaneous contraction of duodenum and jejunum of rabbits with bigger amplitude and tension, and resisted the inhibition effect of atropine on contraction of duocenum and jejunum.

Abstract:In the study on the relationship between oxidative stress and development of diabetes mellitus, the diabetes mellitus model of mice was provided. The sugar, fat and thiobarbituric acid reactants in blood of wistar rats were increased, and superoxide dismutase decreased, after given alloxan. The results of intervension of TSP on diabetes mellitus model of mice presents the recovering action. It indicated that oxidative stress was closely related with saccharometabolism and lipometabolism.
