    Abstract:

Accurate and rapid detection of bisphenol A (BPA) in food plays an important role of reducing the hazard. Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) technology, a new type of rapid detection technology, is being widely used in the detection of BPA in food. This article mainly reviews the mechanism of SERS, the application of SERS technology in the detection of BPA, and the latest research of rapid detection of BPA with different SERS substrates. The review can provide theoretical support for the detection of BPA in food and technological support for the safety supervision on food.
