    Abstract:

To analyze the molecular epidemiology traits of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in Zhenjiang and surrounding areas.Methods40Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains were collected from the samples of food poison incidents occurred in Zhenjiang and surrounding areas in 2011. Biochemical identification, tdh, trh and toxRS/new gene detection, serotyping and pulse-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) were applied to these strains. ResultsThe positive rate of tdh, trh, toxRS/new and orf8 were 85.0%, 5.0%, 50.0% and 42.5%, respectively. The prevalent serotype was O3∶K6(32/40). The similarity of PFGE type between group A and B was more than 80%.ConclusionStrains from different regions in Zhenjiang and surrounding areas were mainly O3∶K6pandemic clone and highly homologous.
