Abstract:Objective To detect the carriage of Salmonella in raw meat for the prevention of Salmonella food poisoning.Methods Dot-ELISA was used to detect the contamination of Salmonella from 85 pork,71 beef and 101 mutton raw meat samples,and compared with the routine isolation and culture identification technique in some slaughter houses in Xining.Results The positive rate was 76.47%(65/85) for pork,55.44%(56/101) for beef and 46.48%(33/71) for mutton detected by Dot-ELISA;and the positive rate was 78.82...
