Microcystin(MCYSTs,MCs)is a common algal toxin in eutrophic fresh water body. In this paper, the toxicology,hazard of microcystin, and its concentration in raw materials and finished products of spires health food,and limit standard were reviewed.It was suggested that the limit standard of microcystin in health food should be formulated.
